Missouri City has wonderful older neighborhoods such as Quail Valley which features many homes on large lots which back to the neighborhood golf course and many lakes and Brightwater, built around beautiful lakes and near the Fruit Tree Trail along Oyster Creek. Newer developments such as Sienna, a park-like neighborhood which is home to the Sienna Plantation Golf Club and Sienna Stables and Lakeshore Harbor offering water front homes on the lakes, both of which still offer new construction.
Highly rated Fort Bend ISD schools are a big draw for those with children. Lots of area parks and greenspace with trails, dog parks, fishing piers and playscapes attract those desiring an active lifestyle. The Fort Bend Tollroad makes this suburban escape easily accessible to the city's medical, financial, and business districts. Plentiful shopping and dining are along the Hwy 6 corridor which runs through the city.
